Hello everyone! I’m
Laura (she/her).

I’m a bookworm, blogger, editor, writer, poet, and parent of both plants and fur-children. If you have either, I would love to chat about them!

I hold a BS in biology and creative writing as well as a MFA in poetry with an emphasis in ecopoetry.

I’ve been a member of the blogosphere for over ten years, specializing in young adult fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, and contemporary.

I enjoy writing about the environment, conservation, urban landscaping, feminism, and how all those aforementioned topics intersect with fiction! From time to time, you may see me dip into discussions on nonfiction books I enjoyed on one of those topics as well.
